Ok right now i have the Single Antenna wireless adapter for my Xbox does anyone know if the Dual Antenna is better ? cause right now i have to worry about lag and getting knocked out of games due to connection.And im trying to prevent that as much as possible i live out in the country and my net is thru satelite

I think that the dual antenna has a N+ signal which would increase signal strength significantly, but I'm not overly sure as I don't have it in front of me, I wonder if Microsoft or Xbox's website might have info, cause now I'm interested in knowing for sure.
Also something you might want to try since you have the wireless adapter. A friend of mine was having the same problem with his internet and kept getting kicked off because of his wireless router. He was telling me about something he picked up at Best Buy that let him plug his router directly into the wall and all his wireless equipment run off of it, instead of his router being plugged into a main computer. i don't know if that makes sense. But it seems to work with him. |

try a third party adapter u can pick up a Pelican Wireless adapter for xbox 360. since i got a generic one i havent had any unwanted disconnections. sounds dumb to think off brand is better than name brand. but sometimes it just is

Dual band will offer better signal distances and speed over most other connection types, but you will need a dual band router to take advantage of that as well. Some of the new Linksys dual bands units are pretty sweet, but $$$

I'm using the wireless N adapter and yes, it has helped significantly.
However, if you're technical -- you can apparently use regular usb N adapters -- but it involves some minor tinkering. I was just too lazy, personally... |
